At the start when you join first time reading the tutorial is recommended, after which you may ‘Start game’. Upon loading in, and trying to go left, Receptionist will stop you and ask you to sign the waiver. (If you make a mistake, you can resign the waiver.) After signing, you can go upstairs…

Excluding the Noobs Which are just dumber AIs with no items and free money, all Partygoers will generally pose a bigger challenge than Dealers and Players. The risk of losing anywhere from 80k-700k cash upon loss also adds to the risk of engaging in Frenzy.

To learn of all AIs and their changes to gameplay, I’d recommend you check the NPCs page.

With all that being said, here’s a general ranking of Partygoers based on difficulty that I can provide:

  1. Rich
  2. Teapot
  3. Admin
  4. Timer
  5. Blind
  6. Juggernaut
  7. Medic
  8. Hater
  9. Basic
  10. Noob Rich is likely the easiest of the bunch to back up their difficulty, as they can generate multiple items in one turn and have virtually infinite healing. Your only hopes of defeating a Rich Partygoer is if you consistently get low ammo counts and Handcuffs, though that’s just because that can usually kill anyone.

Teapots are also difficult Partygoers to fight, as being given one health can make up quite a few games to just a coin flip. Getting lucky is pretty difficult, so they’re usually just not worth the risk.

Admins are the first real Partygoers that you can likely beat consistently, as while they can ban your items, they must also ban any of their items that are the same. They can definitely screw with pacing and make getting combos a hassle for you, but they’re miles below Riches and Teapots.

Timers are similar to Teapots in that your only hope of beating them is just getting lucky. 5+ minutes may seem like a long amount of time, but if they get tons of healing items they can kill you easily. If you’re lucky enough to kill them quickly, they really are just Basics though.

Blinds are very unique and pose a gimmick that can be disorienting to many, but their main drawback is that it’s self-inflicted. If you just keep using your items efficiently and try to minimize risks, they’re just easy enough to still be a fun challenge.

Juggernauts are just tankier Basics. When one player is getting steamrolled hard, a simple ability to tank one more hit really isn’t going to be a gamechanger. Its very long cooldown also leads them to only be able to reuse it once, making them relatively harmless.

Medics are personally on the same level of Juggernauts, just sacrificing consistency for more staying power. If they pull many healing items, then yes, they’re very tanky and can turn the tides of a game more effectively than Juggernauts. If they don’t, then they end up being even worse. Inconsistency is really the main downfall of Medics.

Haters could honestly be confused for Basics if you don’t specifically look out for them, as if their gimmick happens to be a “Players cannot use X item” effect, you genuinely can’t notice the difference most of the time. Their modifiers are mediocre, and self-inflicted, meaning they’re only slightly harder than Basics.

Basics, while more difficult than Dealers due to their inconsistent starting statistics, have no other effects otherwise. All Partygoers start with random health and item draw amounts, making Basics inferior in every other way.

Noobs are just free cash. Spam fire at them and only pass your turns when the shotgun has 100% blanks.
